I can plug three USB devices into it and it will slowly charge them at the same time it charges the laptop
USB 3.0 sticks, my phone, my external SSD, and my compactflash reader all operate at good speeds.

Only downside, which isn't the USB C Adapter's fault, is that I can't charge my computer while using my macbook
However, I've never run into a situation where this has been problematic to e.
