I just got a new galaxy S8 and it has the new USB-C connector. While the phone came with one adapter, I have cords at home, office and car that need to be updated. This slips on the end and works. Now I dont have to buy new cords.

These usb c to micro usb adapters have worked for me for a several months now. Slightly snug fit on my Pixel, but they work fine.

upgraded my phone and of course the cord is different. so rather than have to buy a bunch of new cords these adapters allowed me to use my old micro USB cords with my S8+. They stay connected and I am pleased
