The ABS plastic at the edge is pretty unique. Great idea! It would solve the two problems typical of most other tempered glass: 1) not full covered, which makes it look fairly ugly, and 2) chips and cracks around the edges. One star deduction because of the visible lines that form a rectangle between the tempered glass and the plastic trim.

This is exactly what I was looking for. It doesn't leave that 2mm gap around the edge, so it doesn't look like there's a screen cover on the phone at all.
